Christmas Gift Guide: For Little Girls

Is there anything more fun than buying Christmas gifts for little girls? I could easily go over-budget if I'm not paying attention, by living vicariously through them, buying all the things I would have loved as a child. Especially since my girls favorites are similar to what mine were - like barbies and american girl dolls.
For Christmas, I like to gift them with a combination of:
-things from their wish lists
-experiences
-art supplies & books
-clothing & shoes
-outdoors
-surprises

Clothing & Shoes
Both of my girls had clogs on their lists this year to match my birkenstocks. These from Old Navy are inexpensive and adorable!
Art Supplies & Books
One for Merritt, one for Winnie. I'll let you determine who gets which one.
Wish List
American Girl Accessories & Furniture
American Girl has some adorable sets this year, but so does Walmart's My Life brand which fits with any 18" doll, including American Girl dolls! I ordered a few things from both brands. Check them out and compare!
Barbie Furniture & Sets
My girls have a Barbie kingdom in their playroom. They want every single set there is from boats to horse stables, to gardens, to food trucks, to restaurants, and anything in between. One thing they don't have is a Barbie Grocery Store, so that was up high on their list this year.
Surprises
Winnie is going through a huge "little toy" phase. (Yes, I know how contradictory that sounds... stick with me here.) She will carry around a Fisher Price Little People doll, Barbie Chelsea doll, or something of similar size everywhere she goes! I have been eyeing Calico Critters for awhile and this year, that's her big present. Shes getting the house from a grandparent and several furniture and critter sets from us. There's even a cute little super market! This is probably the gift I'm most excited to see her react to this Christmas.
Outdoors
Winnie has been begging for a "pink jeep" since she saw one at the store. Walmart has this one on sale right now! I can't tell you how difficult it is to put together, because it's still in the box, but I think it was worth it for the price - we'll see what Drew has to say about it in a few weeks when he's inevitably putting it together on Christmas Eve.
Merritt has outgrown her bike and is ready to take on the world without training wheels. Now I know we're headed into winter, but my kids are outdoor beings. They crave to be outside and will play bundled up all winter. I love that and want to further encourage it, rather than waiting until her birthday this summer. Plus this one was on sale and has tassles... so obviously it was a must!
Experiences
The girls are in a serious DCOM phase. Descendants and Zombies are everything right now. I saw an ad for this concert pop up on my Facebook and the algorithm was working overtime that day! In case your little girl is also obsessed, this one has several stops across the U.S.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today & Merry Christmas!
